“We having the same spirit of faith….” ~ 2 Corinthians 4:13…………
The Bible tells us that Caleb had “another spirit with him”. He had a totally different spirit about him than the other ten spies sent to spy out the land of Canaan. He had a spirit of faith about him. The spirit of faith on Caleb caused him to see beyond all the obstacles and see right through to the promise of God. People with the spirit of faith always have a positive outlook on life because they see the promises of God as greater than any obstacles that they might face.
How about you? Do you have a spirit of faith about you? Do you focus on the promises, or on the problems? Problems are nothing more than obstacles waiting for the promises of God to show up. They always have to bow to the promises of God. Train yourself to focus on the promises instead of the problems. This isn’t just a matter of positive thinking, or mind over matter. It’s a matter of promises over problems. It’s faith over defeat. Challenge yourself and see if you’re focusing on the promises or on the problems of life. Develop a spirit of faith about you and expect everything in life to work out for your good!
