“Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.” Acts 18:9-10 KJV……….
I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s during some turbulent times, but it’s nothing compared to what we are experiencing today. The Apostle Paul warned us that in the last days perilous times would come. The phrase “the last days” actually means the last of the last days. We’re in the last of the last days now and those perilous times he spoke of are here. However, there is a safe place. It’s a place under the shadow of God’s wings. That place is called the will of God.
The Lord let Paul know that even though it looked like he might be in a dangerous place, because he was in the perfect will of God no one would be able to harm him. When we’re walking in the will of God we’re walking in the light and that’s the safest place we can possibly be. Don’t just judge things in your life by what the outward circumstances look like. Judge things by whether you’re in the will of God or not. You see, the safest place you could ever possibly be is right in the center of God’s will for your life. That’s the place where provision, safety, and satisfaction are!
