“Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved.” ~ John 13:23………
The apostle John referred to himself in several scriptures as “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” John either had a revelation or he was very arrogant. I believe he had a revelation. I believe he had a revelation of the love of God for him. The truth is we are all the disciples whom Jesus loves. I John 4:16 instructs us that we’re to “know and believe the love that God has to us.” When we have a revelation of the love of God for us we’ll have no more fear at all. Perfect love casts out fear!
Jesus said the Father loves us as much as He does Him. God loves you as much as He does Jesus! Now that may be hard for you to wrap your mind around because God’s love is too rich for man’s mind. However, we can receive a revelation in our hearts of the love of God for us. His love has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. So go ahead and let the Holy Spirit give you a revelation of that love today. It will totally change your life!
