“And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father which is in heaven.” ~ Matthew 16:17 …………
There are two kinds of knowledge in life…. sense knowledge and revelation knowledge. Sense knowledge is knowledge we derive from our five physical senses. Revelation knowledge is knowledge that is revealed to us from God. In the Greek it is known as exact knowledge. It’s called exact knowledge because it’s uncorrupted., It’s from God’s Spirit direct to our spirit.
When we receive natural knowledge, if we didn’t hear it right, or the person didn’t exactly say it right it is corrupted. Revelation knowledge isn’t like that. Revelation knowledge can be called exact knowledge because it comes directly from God to your spirit. It’s uncorrupted by anything in the natural. Revelation knowledge is vital to the believer.
Just as the body needs the five physical senses to function properly, your spirit needs revelation knowledge from God’s Word to function properly. As we read the Word or a faith-filled book, or sit under anointed preaching we give the Holy Spirit opportunity to give us revelation knowledge. If you’re hungry for revelation knowledge God will give it to you on a regular basis as you feed on His Word, just like He fed the children of Israel manna on a daily basis.
