As you celebrate Christmas this year it would be good to remember that Jesus came to redeem us from the curse. As the Christmas song Joy To The World says, “He comes to make His blessings flow far as the curse is found.!”
The word curse means, “to be lessened, it is the lowering to a lesser state, to bind, to hem in with obstacles, to render powerless.” Christ came to redeem us from all of that. Anything that comes into your life to lessen it you’ve been redeemed from. As believers we are supposed to reign in life by One, Jesus Christ. Don’t just accept life reigning over you. You reign over it through Jesus. He’s redeemed you from the curse!
